Arnold is a native of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
He articled with the firm and was admitted to the bar
on April 15th, 1980. He joined the firm as an
associate upon being admitted and became a partner on
February 1st, 1983. From May, 2000 to May
2003 he was appointed a member of the Canada Pension Plan
Review Tribunal. Arnold was also appointed Queen's Counsel in 2001.
