Corwin is a native of Shoal Harbour, Newfoundland. He was admitted to the Bar on April 10th, 1972. Shortly after, he started the firm as a sole practitioner. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1988 and a Master of the Supreme Court in 1998.

Education

  • Master of Laws Degree in Marine Law from the University of Wales, U.K., in 1983, with his thesis on the topic of ships mortgages.
  • Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1971.
  • Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce Degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1967.
