Corwin is a native of Shoal Harbour, Newfoundland. He
was admitted to the Bar on April 10th, 1972. Shortly after, he started the firm as a sole
practitioner. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in
1988 and a Master of the Supreme Court in
1998.

U.K., in 1983, with his thesis on the topic of ships
mortgages.
